Glasgow Poolview Site Survey

Great to be back in Glasgow today - renewing old relationships and making new ones. A follow on from our participation in the recent @_Leisurenet event.

Poolview - providing flexible solutions to Lifeguarding issues.

Site survey now completed - solutions and options offered - Poolview safer Swimming System - providing "Additional Essential Vision" for Lifeguards, increasing safety and offering new flexibility for staffing issues.

Poolview - New Build Projects

The more new-build projects on the way.

It's been a busy and enjoyable couple of weeks, meeting new people whilst conducting site surveys. Great to report that we have been appointed to install Poolview in three more new build projects and have secured another retro-fit project - all good - Poolview is continuing to provide "additional essential vision" for lifeguards

The earlier we are involved in a project - even before specifications are finalised - the more cost effective our solution

Poolview’s Robin McGloughlin takes part in the Belfast to Dublin Maracycle for Macmillan Cancer

On the weekend of 27-28 June, Poolview's Robin McGloughlin will be taking part in Irelands ‘Belfast Dublin Maracycle’, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.  Poolview are the UK's leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of safer swimmer systems for swimming pools with their Sales Director, Robin based over in Co.Down.  The 2 day 218 mile bike ride between Belfast and Dublin is one of the most popular and friendliest biking sportifs in Ireland, attracting hundreds of cyclists each year.

Macmillan Cancer Support provide support for patients and their families right from the moment they are diagnosed, through their treatment and beyond providing a constant source of support, giving energy and inspiration to help sufferers and their families take back control of their life.

Robin McGloughlin, Sales Director of Poolview said “no one should face cancer alone, we have all been effected either personally or know someone close that has suffered, raising money and supporting Macmillian means a lot to us.  I’ve been training hard for this fantastic event using a ‘MyZone’ heart rate monitor to track my progress.  I’ve managed to clock over 9000 MEP points and lose 21lbs in just 7 weeks!”

Poolview and the "active-net" Home Page

Great to make the "active-net" home page - reviewing this years 2015 event.

Without doubt the best Leisure Networking event around. I did not think it was possible to meet so many quality people, in such a short space of time, achieve so much and cement what hopefully will be, long-term friendships, partnerships and relationships!

All I ask for the next time at this well organised and managed event is some sort of ability to slow down time!

Poolview - Developing New Safer Swimmer Systems

Really "buzzing" today following a Research & Development meeting including the three Poolview Directors, Paul Brown, Robin McGloughlin and Chris Day as we discussed, planned, budgeted and agreed the way forward for the next exciting stage in the development of the Poolview Safer Swimmer System - Now Into Action - so watch this space!

Poolview R&D moves forward into next product phase

Outdoor Poolview in Kent

What a joy and what a beautiful to survey an outdoor Poolview Safer Swimming System installation in Kent on Wednesday. We had a look at four pools in the area in all, but did take a little longer than normal to "check" in the fine weather. Last summer we installed Poolview in an outdoor pool in June - let's hope we can time this one right too!

Poolview - providing "Additional Essential Vision" to Lifeguards

Poolview Installation Completed

On the last day of April we completed our Poolview Safer Swimming installation as part of a major pool refurbishment programme in Essex.

The pool still is a few weeks off having a "re-fill" but here is the before refurb picture and looking at this acvtually really highlights to us some of the major changes besides the introduction of Poolview.

We will post some "after" photographs when the pool is once again re-opened to the very patient patrons of the facility.

They will be well looked after as we once again provide "Additional Essential Vision" for Lifeguards.

Poolview Ltd attends "active-net" at Loughborough

Just back from a very successful couple of days at Loughborough - attending "active-net".

"active-net" is a new approach to "buyer meets supplier" events, combining quality one-to-one meetings with a comprehensive seminar and networking programmes. "active-net" is aimed at all operators and suppliers with a focus on the public sector whether it be Trusts, Local Authorities or Universities/Colleges.

Robin McGloughlin - Sales Director at active-net 2015

We therfore had the pleasure of meeting some current customers, old friends and aquaintances as well as the opportunity to establish some new relationships, partnerships, product enquiries and industry collaborations.

Lots of interest in our "Poolview Safer Swimming System" -  to help increase safety, offer new flexibility and help in reducing staff overheads.

It was thought provoking to note that quite a few facility operators assumed that Poolview was an automatic computerised drowning detection system - which it is not - Poolview requires interaction with a fully qualified lifeguard on the poolside incorportating our images into their 10:20 scan.

It was further very pleasing to demonstrate how Poolview can help towards reducing staffing costs and that a business case can be made to install, with a firm period established for cap-ex payback.

Many many thanks to active-net and the staff - In particular to David Monkhouse @DPMCL

SwimEye™ Drowning Detection and Prevention System

We are pleased to announce Poolview Limited will be the UK and Ireland’s sole installers and distributors of the SwimEye™ Drowning Detection and Prevention System, in partnership with the Norwegian Company - Davo AS.

Poolview Ltd and Davo AS are currently finalising the development of SwimEye™ for release onto the UK market.  A series of inspired software and hardware advancements will mean the new SwimEye™ system will be the world’s most technologically advanced artificial intelligence drowning detection "Safer Swimming System".

SwimEye™ utilises a series of underwater cameras; monitoring, tracking and recording swimmers’ actions and behaviour.

This information is relayed back to the Central Control Station for analysis and interrogation.

When the software detects a swimmer may be in difficulty, an alarm will be triggered alerting staff to the developing incident.

A rescue can then be effected by trained lifeguards/responders.

The new SwimEye™ will surpass all currently available detection systems and usher in the next generation of swimming safety.

Please follow the link on our website or contact us directly for further information and product details.

Poolview Installation During Refurbishment

We have just completed another Poolview installation during a facility refurbishment project. Quite a bonus for us to work during daylight hours!

No need to get wet on this occassion as we retro-fitted our cameras in this pool with a moving floor whilst empty.

Indoor and outdoor leisure water areas were also covered - can't wait to see it filled up and operational.
